Dr. Ivo Hostens is the Technical Director of CEMA, the European agricultural machinery industry association. His main responsibility in CEMA lies with digitalisation and new technologies, also in relation to sustainability as in CO2 emissions from agricultural vehicles and plant protection products application. His main target to optimise technical legislation and standards for the industry to ensure the highest possible protection levels for safety, security and the environment whilst keeping a high freedom to innovate and reduce unnecessary burdens for the agricultural machinery industry.
