Born in 1966 in Pelago, Nicola Danti graduated in Political Science from the University of Florence in 1993. An MEP since 2014, he is the first coordinator of the S&D group in the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). Since 2020 in Renew Europe, of which he was elected Vice-President in October 2021, he is a permanent member of the Industry Research and Energy Committee and a substitute member of the Transport and Tourism Committee. He is currently European Parliament’s rapporteur for the Cyber Resilience Act.
