Head of the Data Governance unit in the directorate-general for Agriculture and Rural Development, European Commission, responsible for data governance, data integration/management and digitalisation. Agricultural economist by training, worked mostly in the directorate for strategy and policy analysis, and was involved in the main reforms of the Common Agricultural Policy over the last 25 years. Earlier was in charge of support to policy implementation for the Integrated Administration and Control System – IACS.
